CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. —

A family of three has been displaced after the Charlottetown townhouse they rent flooded from burst water pipes.

Volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross have arranged emergency lodging, food, clothing purchases and other help for the woman and her two daughters who moved to Canada from the Central African Republic a couple of years ago.

It is expected to take a couple of days for repairs and cleanup in the half-duplex at 53 Eden Street.
