The Agriculture ministry has recorded a massive reduction in brucellosis cases this year with only eight cases recorded, compared to 31 in 2018.

Presenting during the Bovine Tuberculosis Bovine Brucellosis Eradication Forum yesterday, Director Animal Health Production, Avinesh Dayal says the reduction follows the successful monitoring and continuous assessments by the ministry.

In 2019 to date, we have almost 8 animals that we detected brucellosis, it is a very good sign. ”
